Do you own antiques or collectibles but have no idea of their worth?

It can be very expensive to find out the value of your antiques. Why not use the internet to find out more information about your antiques and collectibles, or even post the item for sale and find potential buyers of your antiques (all for free!).

Click here for a free antique appraisal. Submit a description and a photo of your antique and find collectors willing to help out by estimating their worth.

Are you a dedicated antique collector? Help out fellow antique collectors by submitting your estimate of the below antiques. AntiquesNavigator offers this service completely free of charge, but other than antique padlocks we are not experts on all antiques and collectibles. If you own an extremely rare antique that belongs in the Smithsonian, you're probably better off putting the antique up for auction with Sotherby! However, if you have more commons antiques and collectibles and are curious to their worth, then we can help! AntiquesNavigator does not guarantee the accuracy of the free appraisal, so it might be a good idea to wait until you get at least a couple of responses from our readers before deciding the value of your antique or collectible.

Thank you for visiting and we hope this free appraisal service helps you!

tobacco/meat grinder

Submitted by:

PLEASE HELP

This was brought to the US by my grandmother from England. It is still in working condition. The grinder box itself is 14in in length. If including the metal handle the length is 20.5 in. The box is 7 in tall and 6.5 in width. The spool on the inside has all metal teeth. The crank is different than others I have seen. It appears to be cast iron. The handle on the crank has a wooden grip. All original hardware.

Was A Lamp, I think

Submitted by: Victoria
Main Image

PLEASE HELP

I have a piece that I think, is an original Capo-Di-Monte. I purchased it sometime in the mid eighties from an antique store. I believe that it was a lamp. The tree trunk had a wire in it. It is broken at the tree top. I think it previously sat on some sort of base. There is a vacant hole in the bottom section. I think a clock probably was inserted there. I hadn't thought about what the piece was or where it came from before. I was looking for information about flowers I like on line and found that the particular pieces I liked were Capo-Di-Monte. While looking at those pieces I found a lot of other Capo-Di-Monte pieces. I found that the piece I have resembles a lot of them. The theme, colors, style- especially the cherubs and grapes. I found a very similar piece on Ebay that lists for almost 5 thousand dollars. I doubt this piece is that much and I don't even know if it is a "real" Capo-Di_Monte or a copy of sorts. It says "Made In Italy" on the bottom. The last photo I post will be the similar piece that I saw on Ebay. Thank You very much!

Antique bentwood swinging cradle

Submitted by:
Main Image

PLEASE HELP

We have an antique bentwood swinging cradle. It's been in our family for a very long time but we know nothing about it. There is no maker's name on it but on one end, the lower part of the side has a flattened (sanded) surface that has three small brad holes where a maker's emblem was probably attached. The cradle's base is stationary while the cradle itself swings from the metal supports.
